Six Star Tiling is a highly reputable commercial tiling subcontractor based in Brisbane. We provide professional tiling service to construction sites across the Australia. We are currently experiencing rapidly growth of our business, and would like to seek an Junior Estimator to join our team.

Duties & responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparation and administration of project estimates and tenders ensuring accuracy and timeliness of completion
- Full take-offs, quotes for projects and preparing Bill of Quantities
- Assist with management of project progress, responding to client enquiries and site enquiries.
- Assist with management of general drawings updating and emails
- Prepare project pre start safty documents and project completion handover documents
- Assist with material control and material ordering calculation

Skills & requirements:
- Ideally 1+ years’ experience either in the estimating, quantity surveying or contract administration, but not necessary
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction or above
- Willingness to learn and work autonomously
- Excellent skills of using MS excel and take-off software Buildsoft
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent understanding of working drawings, details.
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task
- Work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent English Speaking
- Current QLD Driver License
- Valid Working Visa to work full time hours
