标题: 2018年，司机被要求在学校附近“减速慢行”

市长格莱姆•库尔克 (Graham Quirk) 呼吁驾驶者在校区周围“放慢速度”，因为布里斯班市政府在2018年的第一个学期发起了一项新的安全专项行动。

市长库尔克表示，市政府全面学校安全专项行动将包括加强针对超速驾驶者标志牌、加强警员的主动巡逻以处理危险状况、打击非法停车和升级交通基础设施等。

市长库尔克说：“市政府非常重视学校环境安全。学校假期陆续结束，是时候提醒驾驶者安全合法的驾驶和停车。”

“我们希望确保学龄儿童和家人能够安全到家，这正是我们加强2018学年安全专项行动的目的。”

“今年，我们正启动一项新的计划，提高对校区周围超速行驶的认识，其中包括在全市范围内，在市政府的可擕式速度传感监测器上安装增强版标志牌。”

“为了能更好地被识别，100多个标志牌将被更名为‘Slow for SAM’标志，当驾驶者在限速内或低于限速行驶时显示电子笑脸。如果汽车行驶速度过快，将会显示一个清晰的减速信号(SLOW DOWN) 来提醒他们减速。”

“我们的车速监测器位于各街区的超速热点地区，并已经成为市政府致力于道路安全的不可分割部分，旨在鼓励司机正确驾驶。”

市长库尔克表示，市政府将继续与学校合作，共同实施和执行安全措施，在60所自愿报名或已被社区提名要求额外安全巡逻的学校，专业督察人员将会就位。

他说：“十台专业道路监察车辆及相关督察人员会定期前往这些校区，向在教学期间没有安全停车的司机发出警告及罚款。”

市长库尔克表示，市政府还将与58所学校合作共同制定交通管理计划书，用以解决具体的交通问题，并提供新的基础设施和标志牌，以此作为市政府继续推动更安全校园环境的组成部分。
