Sun Pacific College is an inclusive community which welcomes studentsand staff of all beliefs. We are looking for full time Canteen Manager and it is based in Kewarra Beach, QLD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Planning menus in consultation with Chef
  
• Planning, organising, and monitoring the day to day operations of     the canteen
  

·        Ensuring correctoperation and balancing of cash registers and daily reporting

·        Ensuring and maintainingadequate skilled staff levels at all times

·        Manage and conductpayroll weekly

• Maintaining records of stock levels and     financial transactions
  
• Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of others in the canteen
  
• Conferring with customers to assess their     satisfaction with meals and service
  
• Selecting, training and supervising waiting     and kitchen staff
  
• Ensure that the operation of the canteen is in line with the values     of the school community
  
• Ensure that stock is kept at appropriate levels and a stock take is     undertaken at the end of each school term
  
• Use food preparation and food handling skills to minimise waste
  
• Ordering, purchasing and checking all supplies against invoices and     delivery dockets.
  

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities and attributes:

·        At least diploma qualification in management field or relevant experience.

·        Be professional,responsible and able to work with a team of employees under constantwork pressure.

·        Ability to maintain employee’srelations leading by example and demonstrated willingness to work in ateam environment.

·        Excellent communication andnegotiation skills.

·        Excellent time management andorganisational skills.

·        Multi-language background is preferable.
