Ultra Tune Townsville City is looking for good qualified experienced mechanics to join our team to give us and your career a good boost. The right candidate needs to be able to finish the repair/service efficiently with a good quality to fit in the fast paced workshop and to ensure the store warranty. Half day on Saturday will be required by roaster.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, and replacing filters.
• Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components.
• Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
• Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing.
• Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
• Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options.
• Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
• Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Assist front office staffs with quoting repairs and servicing.
• Be a helping hand for the office staff and manager if help is needed.
• Keep workshop clean & tidy.
  

Skills and Qualifications:
Team work, Lifting, Energy Level, Dependability, Persistence, Time Management, Attendance, Independence, Safety Management, Problem Solving, Dealing with Complexity, Analyzing Information, At least level III Auto / Manual Mechanic certificate and A/C license Holder.

There will be 3 months probation period at the beginning.

Hourly rate starts from $25.00 - $32.00 Plus Bonus
