About the Role
This is a full-time permanent position responsible for handling essential bookkeeping and administrative duties. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the business.
Key responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
Prepare BAS statements, financial reports, and ensure compliance with ATO regulations
Manage invoices, payments, and receipts
Perform general office tasks including data entry, correspondence, and filing
Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow management
Liaise with external accountants, suppliers, and stakeholders
Support HR administration including employee records and payroll
Help with stock control and inventory records
Provide administrative support to management
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar administrative role
Strong knowledge of MYOB and bookkeeping processes
High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
Payroll and HR administration experience is an advantage
A qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable but not essential
